Comment on growth and pubertal status - plot on a growth chart and calculate height velocity
Offer to check development, hearing, and signs of hypoparathyroidism (especially if a scar is present)
Request temperature chart and urine analysis
Look for signs of other autoimmune disease e.g. insulin injection sites
Examine the chest and lung fields (congestive cardiac failure)
