Last year, learnmed donated to the Menzies HealthLAB (see blog entry here). Dr Sue Sayers, who runs this challenging project, gives the following update: "With your donated money we have already purchased the smokelyzer, the stadiometer, the accutrend glucose and cholesterol monitor, the digital wireless auriscope, a grip dynamometer, and a blood pressure machine. Progress is slow but steady. We have organised visits to three remote Indigenous communities (in the Northern Territories) and attended local school Health Expos, as well as gathering indigenous workers for the HealthLAB. I hope to report more concrete outcomes in the next few months." Keep up the good work doc!

learnmed is delighted to see the profits from your online subscriptions used in such a positive and effective way, and we hope you are too.
